Table-top candelabra 5-arms candleholder made with welded mesh rusted iron colour and base in aged white /grey concrete. Equipped with 5 black candles.
Table candelabra RECOVER 5C is a fine piece of furniture that fits any decor, thanks to its versatility in style and colour.
It looks like a common table candleholder with five arms, with aged cement base in gray white colour and a welded mesh rusted iron colour equipped with five black candles.
The actual structure is discrete (32 cm long, 15 cm wide and 47 cm tall) and the modest weight makes it easy to place and move at any time (2.6 Kg).
This candleholder wants to show how art is able to reassess the potential of waste materials and also that even nowadays you can use no common elements as refined art to make artwork and furnishing, even succeeding to give a unique personality to each piece. Recover 5C is in fact made of concrete, which is not a classic material for sculpture as can be for example marble, and a welded steel mesh which could be a waste element of a production chain.
The artisans who worked on Ecoreuse collection take care of every detail, from finishing with paint made from dust and gold, to cleaning by hand of each element, giving a real soul to every candleholder in the collection, as if each had its own unique personality and differentiate from one to another. Harmony is created by the materials contrast, the concrete: apparently a cold and colourless material is aged through three stages that led it to take on a gray white colour and an aspect no longer static, when is scratched and punctuated with attention. The welded mesh already rusty treated, is baked to 180 degrees and repainted to give the golden hues to the structure that ends up rushing through the black candles that sit on the brushed steel glasses, to make the product even more attractive.
